Crossover Cable

The crossover cable can be acclimated to connect
- Switch to switch
- Hub to hub
- Host to host
- Hub to switch
- Router absolute to host
The aforementioned four affairs are acclimated in this cable as in the straight-through cable; we aloof affix different
pins together. Figure 1.23 shows how the four affairs are acclimated in a crossover Ethernet cable.
Notice that instead of abutting 1 to 1, 2 to 2, and so on, actuality we affix pins 1 to 3 and
2 to 6 on anniversary ancillary of the cable.
